What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic dance is a freeform movement practice that lets you drop into your body, let go of inhibition, and express yourself through dance no choreography, no judgment, just pure embodied joy. If you’re new to it or just curious, check out this article to get a feel for what we’ll be diving into.
Special Notes for Ecstatic Dance and Open Play Party:
This is a clothing-optional event. Wear as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
Dancing happens in silence and no touch is permitted. This allows everyone to fully immerse in the music and the moment.
Our playlist is incredibly timed it runs 1.5 hours and is a full journey of peaks and valleys. You’re encouraged to rest as needed just do so quietly to respect the flow.
You can’t do this wrong. Seriously. However you move, whatever you feel, it’s all welcome here.
Bring snacks! Dancing (and playing) can be energy-intensive, so be sure to have something to keep yourself nourished.
This event is based in community building within a hyper sexual environment, while sexual touch may be exchanged, nothing is promised.
Please keep in mind we are a 420 friendly space. Vaping is encouraged and we do provide rolling and ash trays for those with the sacred flower preferences.
