FIRST TIME?

It’s okay, we were new once too. You don't have to know what you're doing yet.

Welcome to Samsara.

From the outside, the Temple can be a lot to take in. We are a sexuality temple, a ritual space, a queer community, a place to dance, learn, play, worship, make art, get curious, or simply be around other humans.

Your first visit does not require you to understand everything.

We'll show you the way.

  • You can watch.

  • You can ask questions.

  • You can always say no.

  • You can change your mind.

  • You can take a break in the sensory room.

  • You can leave when you’re ready.

  • You can do absolutely nothing.

Your experience belongs to you.

Before You Arrive

READ YOUR EVENT LISTING

1

Every event has its own container, theme, and expectations. Read the event description carefully so you know what kind of experience you're walking into.

COMPLETE YOUR FORMS

2

Your ticket confirmation will provide the location and access to any required attendance forms. Please complete everything before you arrive.

BRING YOUR ID

3

We take the safety and privacy of our community seriously, including the screening and confidentiality practices required for the Temple.

ARRIVE EARLY

4

Give yourself at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time. You'll have time to check in, get oriented, and take a breath before entering the experience.

COME FRESH

5

Please arrive freshly showered and practice considerate personal hygiene. We also ask that you avoid heavy perfumes and colognes so the space remains comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions

When You Arrive

CHECK IN

1

A Temple Fae will greet you and guide you through the check-in process. You'll provide your name, show identification and complete any required screening and confidentiality agreements.

GET ORIENTED

2

You won't be expected to walk into an unfamiliar space and magically know what to do. A member of our team will show you around, point out the facilities, explain anything you need to know, and help you get settled.

LEARN THE CONTAINER

3

Every Temple experience has expectations. You'll learn what applies to the particular event you're attending, including consent practices, community standards, and how to get help if you need it.

TAKE A BREATH

4

Once you're inside, you don't have to immediately participate in anything. Look around. Get comfortable. Meet people. Ask questions. Take your time. Take your time. There is no need to rush into the experience.

HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCE

5

You might dance. You might talk. You might learn. You might play. You might meditate. You might connect. You might watch. You might do absolutely nothing.

All of those are valid ways to experience Samsara.

WHEN YOU'RE READY

Take a breath.

You don't have to know what you're doing.
You don't have to know what you're looking for.
You don't have to have it all figured out.

Just bring your curiosity, your boundaries, and your willingness to be present.

The rest can unfold from there.

Welcome to Samsara.

Come as you are.
