Welcome to Joy Night, a vibrant group dedicated to helping individuals find inner joy within themselves and their community. Each month, we come together for themed activities that inspire connection, creativity, and celebration of who we are.
Join us for a lighthearted and fun evening full of joy, whimsy, and… slideshows?
That’s right! This month’s Joy Night is a “Dance Talk Learn”. We are gathering to create and share power points on the topic of “what brings you joy.” You can make your power point as silly, as serious, and as authentically you as you want it to be. Then, you’ll get 5 minutes to share your power point with the group. If you go under or over that time, you’ll have to dance for the same amount of time that you went over or under!
Join us to hang out, watch power points, laugh, and share our joy with each other (and our snacks!). There will be rewards for the best power point!

Full Moon Ceremony
Sacred Corn Mother calls us together for our Full Corn Moon gathering this month! This single plant generously shares herself with our world, giving freely for the benefit of us all. This is called Sacred Reciprocity, a harmonious flow of Giving and Receiving.
In ancient times, the tribe identified the unique skills sets of each individual. We relied on the strength of the whole, knowing our valuable space in the Great Web of Life.

Ghoulish Desires is bringing a curated vendor market to the West Bottoms for a day of dark aesthetics and intimate craft. Hosted at Samsara Temple, this event features two distinct sessions for the curious and bold.

• The Open House (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM):
Browse the market during our daytime session! Entry is FREE, though a donation at the door is greatly encouraged. This is an open format perfect for exploring local vendors and intimate crafts.
• Hucow Hoedown (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM):
The market returns for the evening, hosted exclusively during a paid entry play party. Shop the shadows as part of a full night of immersive, adult oriented experience within the Temple.

A tornado has swept through the pasture and dropped the herd right over the rainbow into the Land of Oz! But this ain’t your average yellow-brick road. It’s time to wrassle your way home (or find a whole new herd to get wild with).
Follow the Yellow-Brick Path into the arena for an evening of rustic wrastlin’, barnyard shenanigans, and Oz-inspired wrestling matches. Whether you’re a Cowardly Cow lookin’ for some courage, a Tin-Bull in need of a little oiling, or a Scarecrow ready to lose your stuffing in the ring, there’s room in the pasture for everyone!

Smut Writing Workshop Full Day Intensive
Have a fantasy you want to get down on the page? Working on a novel that craves some erotic tension?
Or do you want to give your lover(s) a truly unique, sensual gift in story form?
Join us in Samsara’s first full-day smut writing intensive.
Whether you’re a seasoned writer or new to the page, this is a space to stretch your sensual imagination, experiment with language, and celebrate pleasure through words. Come ready to giggle, blush, and write things you never thought you’d say out loud. By the end, you’ll have a juicy story, play, or poem under your belt!
Earnest has been writing smut for 6 years (or more). They are drawn to writing about power dynamics, consensual non-consent, queer and trans bodies, sci-fi and speculative fiction. Earnest is passionate about finding non-normative language to describe the erotic, and will push you, the writer, to subvert your expectations. We all have such interesting, unique & strange bodies. Let’s write it that way.
You can come to all sessions, or just one. If you are attending the full workshop, please bring a lunch and some snacks to share!
Part of the proceeds will go towards Earnest’s top surgery fund. A word from them about their journey: “I have known I wanted top surgery for several years now, but never thought I could get it due to lack of health insurance, and how expensive and overwhelming the whole process is. I now feel ready to ask for resources, guidance, and encouragement. These initial funds will go towards securing a special therapist so that I can get ‘approved’ for gender affirming care. Then I will begin the process of finding the right surgeon for me. I don’t have a gofundme yet, but my Venmo (@big-red-dog) will be available at the workshop. I am super grateful for this community and hope that my fellow trans & nonbinary peeps get the care they need.”

This is a space intentionally crafted by and for men, masc, transmasc, and man-aligned queer people seeking physical, sensual, sexual, and emotionally charged connection with others in that same constellation.

What do your desires feel like - your yes, your no, and your I don’t know?
What does it feel like to hear someone else’s no?
This is an intimacy and communication skill-building gathering. We come together to explore authentic expression, boundaries, and trust cultivating autonomy, collective care, harm reduction, and consent through embodied practice. There is deep social and political power in gathering this way!
This space centers those who are new to intimacy work, on the asexual or demisexual spectrum, or simply curious about building deeper, more intentional relationships. Bring your curiosity, your vulnerability, your humor, and your heart. Together we’ll learn to communicate what we want, what we don’t, and how to hold space for others in return.
You’re encouraged to make informed, honest choices and to engage with compassion and nonjudgment as we grow our collective understanding of care and connection.
Hell’s Club - Late Night Open Temple
Join us as the temple opens its doors for an evening of exploration, connection, and play. From 7 PM to 2 AM, the space becomes a living altar to touch, trust, and truth. The window of play remains open all night, with doors open until 9 PM for arrivals. This is a space built on reverence, curiosity, and enthusiastic consent conversations must happen before touch, and consent is queen. Wristbands mark those who have entered this sacred current, and all participants must complete the required forms upon entry. Step into the temple with presence and intention, ready to honor yourself and others. Come as you are whole, wild, and willing to meet yourself through another.
The theme for this Late Night is Hell’s Club 3. Dress up and show off. Iconic movie costuming encouraged.

3:30p - 6p: House Breakouts (Earth, Air, Fire, Water) and community crafting/play.
Saturday Evening

6p - 7:45p: Community dinner, followed by downtime to wind down, prepare ritual space, or craft.
7:45p - 9p: Quiet transition into our Full Moon Ceremony featuring guided meditation and group energy work.
9p - 12a: Camp After Dark! Games (like multi-floor Sardines/Hide & Seek) transitioning into an open-play space / Pleasure Temple atmosphere.

Mabon, the Autumn Equinox, is the festival of balance and ripening. It's the time of the year when day and night linger in equal embrace before the world tips into shadow. Pagans have long honored this moment with the second harvest by baking bread from gathered grains, splitting apples to reveal the hidden star within, and offering libations back to the earth. It is a time when desire is as natural as falling leaves, when sweat and cider mingled on lips, and the harvest was celebrated in moans and tangled limbs beneath the autumn sky. This is a queer-affirming, consent-centered space to soften, to gather close, and to remember that even in the longest night, hope is already on its way. Whether you are stepping into a temple space for the first time or you’ve been a part of the Samsara family for years, this evening is for you.
For our newcomers, this is the perfect, low-pressure entry point to understand our culture of consent and connection. For our seasoned players, this is an invitation to slow down, sharpen your energetic tools, and lead by example. We believe the best "Intro" is one where the community comes together to co-create a container that is as deep as it is safe.
What’s Different?
Unlike our standard events where we move quickly, we are dedicating the first half of the night to a consent workshop. This isn't just a "how-to" - it’s a guided journey through self inquiry and communication games designed to drop everyone into their bodies.
Seasoned folks: Come to refine your "slow-burn" skills and enjoy the luxury of a 90-minute warm-up.
Newer folks: Come to learn the ropes in a space held by those who know it best.
